Hard Baked Ricotta is prepared according to the traditional Sicilian recipe: fresh sheep’s milk ricotta is cooked for a few hours in the oven, in terracotta bowls. A process that gives this product, typical of our tradition, a savory flavor and the characteristic brown color of the external rind.
Baked ricotta is excellent on cheese platters or as an appetizer.
